During math 2 one of the first problems that we were given was the fireworks problem in which we had to find where the apex of the rockets flight, how much time it takes for it to get to that point, and where the rocket will land after it has exploded

One of the assignments that we did was; applying vertex form because it allowed us to have more experience with finding the vertex from a quadratic equation which will help us find the apex of the firework's flight and they way we got this practice is that we were given an equation, that was not in vertex form but rather in standard form, and so we had to figure out where the vertex is located on the graph

Another assignment we did was; speed, time, and distance problems in this assignment we were comparing the speed of objects and how far they would get within a limited amount of time
