THE RUBE GOLDBERG REFLECTION

My rube goldberg's It demonstrated a inclined plane at the beginning by making the marble roll down  the side of it. It also demonstrated a pulley system because when the marble fell into the cup it brought up the other side. The rube also used a wedge as a fulcrum for our teeter-totter.

Our rube goldberg displayed inertia by when the marble the nails keeping the platform in place it was able to move over it. It also showed speed because when them marble was going over the nails it was able to pick up speed because of the inclined plane. It also displayed a version of potential energy because when it was at the top of the inclined plane it had the highest amount of potential energy, Which would then be converted into kinetic energy.

In the hypothetical situation where we start a rube with a 7.0 gram ball and 50 centimeters until it hits the bucket we would need to calculate the potential energy.

7.0 grams = 0.007 kilograms

50 centimeters = 0.5 meters

Gravity = 9.81m/s squared

The potential energy = to 0.0343 joules

Velocity = 45cm/s

The kinetic energy = 0.00070875 joules

The first thing we did was draw out our design for our rube goldberg projects so that we could build off of our design

Out of all the 21st century skills the one that was my greatest strength would have to be my collaboration because i spent most of my time making sure everyone’s piece of the rube was good whilst working upon my own

The area i grew the most in would have to be in communication because i was able to communicate any issues i was having with my team so we were able to fix it before we made the mistakes that would of broken the rube.
